ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2, 2010!
Make sure your vote for Mark Levitt counts in November’s general election. Check the dates below to find the voting method that works best for you, and please check your voter registration status.
IMPORTANT DATES
September 23, 2010: First Day to Request a One-Time Ballot by Mail.
You do not need a special reason to vote by mail. For this election, if voting by mail is your most convenient option, you can request a ballot online, by email at votingbymail@lakecountyil.gov, or by phone at 847-377-2406. If you want to enroll in the permanent vote by mail program, you can choose that option by filling out this form from the Lake County Clerk. For more information on voting by mail, visit the Lake County Clerk’s website.
October 11 – October 28, 2010: Early Voting.
Find the location of your early voting site. This information will be updated and available in September.
November 2, 2010: Election Day.

REGISTER TO VOTE
If you’re not yet registered to vote, you can register now by completing the Illinois Voter Registration Application and turn it into the Lake County Clerk before October 5, 2010. Or you can go to an official registration location before October 5, 2010.

THE 4TH SUBCIRCUIT
On July 30, 2009, Illinois Governor Pat Quinn approved a bill that created the 4th Subcircuit of the 19th Judicial Circuit. Circuit Judges, who serve six-year terms, are licensed attorneys and are officials of the State of Illinois, and are responsible for appointing 24 Associate Judges.
Lake County’s 4th Judicial Subcircuit includes Bannockburn, Deerfield, Green Oaks, Highland Park, Highwood, Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Lincolnshire, Mettawa, Riverwoods and portions of Buffalo Grove and Libertyville.
